about
Founded in 2014 in New York, Alexandra Grecco’s eponymous bridal label is rooted in the beauty of celebration.
After attending the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Alexandra Grecco established a ready-to-wear label that instinctually became bridal by nature: soft colors and luxurious fabrics became recurring motifs, underpinned by an appreciation for slow design.
With her brides in mind, each with their own personal story to tell, Alexandra’s silhouettes embody a signature sensuality paired with expert craftsmanship. Classic and refined, elegant and effortless, her pieces are designed with a keen attention to detail and unexpected flights of whimsy. Sumptuous fabrics and rich textures are central to the brand and beloved by brides for luxurious feel and ease of wear.
An intimate approach is at the core of every piece, proudly made-to-order in New York’s Garment District.

At Alexandra Grecco, we are deeply committed to challenging over-consumption, favoring a meticulous design process that is sustainable and ethical. By prioritizing conscious craftsmanship, we’re able to deliver a signature aesthetic that transcends fluctuating trends – with the intention of leaving a lighter footprint.
Locality is at the core of our production process. Our pieces are produced one at a time by master artisans in New York’s Garment District. Creating made-to-order items by hand reduces over-production, surplus inventory and overall waste.
materials
We aim to carefully source circular materials, increasing our use of natural or sustainable textiles with certifications. 100% recycled polyester is made from post-consumer PET derived from plastic bottles.
We build long-term, trusting relationships and partner with reputable embroidery mills in India that meet environmental and working standard regulations.
repurpose
In an effort to reduce fabric waste, we operate in a circular model by preserving our fabric scraps for smaller items. We consciously strive to revive leftover or stagnant fabrics in creative ways by giving them a new purpose. For example, residual silk can be used to create fabric buttons, accessories or layered trim details.
We have also curated a select range of archived styles online or during in-person sample sales. These gowns are discontinued styles or gently worn samples with subtle imperfections, offered at a discounted rate to promote circular production.
inclusivity
Inclusivity and celebrating each individual bride is core to our brand. We offer a variety of customization options so our brides can personalize their gown if needed. Brides can choose from a variety of style changes to best suit their comfort level or options that feels most true to themselves.
If an AG style has a nude color incorporated, our brides are able to select from a variety of shades that feels right to them. We don't love a rigid size chart so we offer flexible split-sizing to reduce the amount of tailoring needed.
packaging
We are continuously researching and testing sustainable packaging alternatives. For example, our gowns are delivered in custom boxes made in New York from up to 100% recycled content. We use high-quality hangers derived from fully recycled and biodegradable fiberboard instead of plastic hangers. We also use a thermal printer, which uses less energy than inkjet printers, and “Zero Waste” shipping labels. The box tape we use requires less material per seal and is curbside recyclable. We know that even these small efforts add up and can make a big difference.
