Kevin and I unexpectedly met while attending separate bachelor and bachelorette parties. I was the only single girl in the group, and my friends were humorously determined to "find me a husband" which I brushed off so quickly, though I had no idea what would transpire over the weekend. While my group was on a sandbar, Kevin’s boat docked right next to ours, sparking a chance encounter. From the moment I met Kevin, I felt a profound sense of peace, as if my heart had finally found its home.

Fast forward three years, Kevin planned a surprise proposal on a random Wednesday night. He took me under the guise of running "errands," but instead, we stopped at our favorite park to enjoy a rare April heatwave in Minnesota.
