Victoria and John met by total chance on a beach in Miami in the spring of 2021. She was visiting Miami for a friend's birthday, while he was traveling for a friend's bachelor party. They immediately hit it off and talked the whole weekend.

When it was time to leave, they exchanged numbers but never thought it would turn into what it did. However, throughout that summer, they visited each other back and forth. Eventually, Victoria decided to try out a 13-week travel nursing contract in his city. Those 13 weeks turned into two years and a cross-country move. Fast forward to their wedding day, their best friends from Miami were their Maid of Honor and Best Man.

John proposed during a skiing weekend in Breckenridge, so it only felt right to have their wedding at the spot where it all took place!

They chose the Ten Mile Station as their venue. Victoria adored the fact that it turns into a ski chalet in the winter and so they'd be able to go back and visit in the future. A fall wedding was perfect, and boy did the aspen trees deliver!

One of the most special details of their day was the band - A local cover band that Victoria and John have always enjoyed in Breckenridge. They kept the dance floor packed all night long!

"I first fell in love with the Ava Gown at an AG Trunk Show, the bias-cut was stunning and I absolutely love the silk buttons down the sides and intricate lace detailing lining the open back. It was the first dress, after days of searching, that I really felt like a bride in!

But then I remembered that I was getting married in the fall in the mountains, and I thought I needed something with sleeves. We tried on some detachable sleeves and shawls, but none of them felt like they fit the dress perfectly. Then, Alexandra suggested the Greene Topper and it was magic. I loved that it felt like I had two dresses in one, and I took the topper off after our first dance so I had an entirely different look!" – Victoria
