Katie and Connor got engaged in Lake Como - a dream come true! Connor was looking for the right opportunity to make this moment meaningful and when they started planning a trip to Italy, he seized the opportunity to propose on the first night.

As luck would have it, their departure flight from Toronto left late and resulted in them missing their connection in Frankfurt. The delay caused them to miss their first day in Lake Como… and the planned proposal. Stranded in the Frankfurt airport, over a romantic McDonald's meal, Connor proposed. Just kidding! While the ring burned a hole in his pocket, he was able to rebook flights, pivot his proposal plans and were finally en route to Italy. The proposal finally took place the following morning on their hotel room balcony, overlooking beautiful Lake Como, followed by two weeks traveling around Italy celebrating this exciting next chapter.

Their wedding took place at a beautiful vineyard in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada.

Their wedding planner and vendors knocked it out of the park channeling Katie’s "pretend I am getting married in the South of France sipping rosé'' vision with a crisp summer palette of ivory, champagne and blue accented by lush greenery. Tied together with peony blue and white charger plates, a 40-person head table up the centre of the tent with their bridal parties and their plus one's as a central main focus point, followed by an unforgettable dance party with all of their favorite people.
