Kellyann & Tim

Kellyann and Tim met while studying at Gettysburg College, a small school in Pennsylvania. Throughout college, Tim was Kellyann’s little crush. As they neared the end of their time together at school, they both realized they needed to be together post-graduation. Fast forward seven years later, Tim got down one knee in their Hoboken, NJ apartment and popped the question. The surprise didn't stop there, as they later gathered with friends and family for a celebration, another secret part of his plan.

Battello, a delicious waterfront restaurant in Jersey City was an obvious pick for the two of them. It’s close to their home, and has spectacular views of the NYC skyline. Its magical feel is intimate, unique, and urban chic!

Kellyann’s childhood best friend's dad married them, while we were surrounded by their closest family and friends. They were blessed with a warm September evening, clear blue skies and an enormous harvest moon. The icing on the cake was that just across the water, they had a direct view of fireworks over NYC, which felt like fate! Guests danced away inside and soaked in the late summer evening under the city glow. It was exactly how they envisioned their big day.

“Going into dress shopping, I knew I wanted something elegant, clean and modern that would capture my urban chic wedding venue. If you know me, I'm not good at making decisions, but when I put the Viola gown on, I immediately knew that was it.

My favorite part of this dress was the two beautiful feels it gave me and that I wanted to emit. I loved feeling classy, chic and confident from the front's high boat-neck while I had a flirty and fun element going on with the low back and sheer sides. Viola was so comfortable to move in yet flattering and form fitting. People started as we took pictures on Jersey City brownstones and crossing the streets in traffic - I truly felt like a model!”
