Ali & Terrell

Like most modern romances, Ali and Terrell matched on Hinge. Their first date was at a BYOB in Philadelphia where they bonded over food, wind, music, and sports. Neither of them wanted the date to end, which led them to not one but two dive bars, ending the night at 2am. After that, Ali knew Terrell was “the one.” Three years later, he proposed at the same BYOB restaurant from their first date, followed by a surprise celebration with family and friends at the dive bar!

They got married on a beautiful December day in Philadelphia. Their wedding was held at Platform Thirty, a train station renovated into an urban event space. Ali loved a dark, moody, and cozy vibe and filled the space with tons of candles and winter greens.

“When I went to try on wedding dresses, I was nervous as I have a more curvy body. I tried on many dresses that did not fit or show my curves how I wanted until I tried on the Zoe Gown. I knew I wanted simple, sexy and timeless and that is exactly what Zoe was. I loved the cowl neck and the open back with the simple buttons down the dress. It  gave me shape while also showing off my curves- it was truly everything I had hoped for in a dress and to be able to wear it to marry my best friend was a dream.”
