Christy and Alex grew up just a few miles away from each other in the South Bay of LA. Their paths could’ve crossed multiple times, as they both played water polo/swim at each others’ high schools and had mutual friends. However, they didn’t meet until 2018, years after graduating from college. Their invisible string tied them together their whole lives, and it finally pulled them together, and the rest is history!

They exchanged their first look and private vows at the beautiful Westlake Village Inn, while their ceremony and reception took place at Maravilla Gardens in Camarillo, CA. Christy dreamed of a garden wedding, and the venue was perfect! After a rainy year in Santa Barbara, the hills in the backdrop of their wedding were lush and green. The finishing touch to their whimsical garden vibe were the wildflowers in colorful vases and mismatched bridesmaids gowns.

“I never really had a dream wedding dress, because I could never settle on one specific type of look. I love timeless, elegant dresses, but I also love whimsical looks with floral detailing and fun fabrics. The second I put on Sloan, I knew it was the one for me. Not only was the shape and structure timeless and elegant, but the second I saw whimsical puff sleeves reminiscent of my mom's wedding gown, I couldn't believe this perfect gown existed.
