Erika & Jack

Erika and Jack met during their freshman year of college at LSU. After bumping into each other at tailgates and school events throughout the year, Jack asked her to be his date for his fraternity’s spring formal. Their first kiss was at the bar Reggies in Tigerland - which is iconic to anyone familiar with LSU.

A few years later, while Erika was living in France teaching English, Jack came to visit. He popped the question at the beautiful Musée de L’Orangerie in front of Monet’s Lilies - and the rest is history!

Erika and Jack tied the knot in St. Augustine, Florida where Jack’s family is from. Their venue, the Lightner Museum, has a very interesting history! It was a hotel in the early 1900’s that housed the world's largest indoor pool at the time. After the great depression it became several different things before a museum. Eventually, they drained the pool and now it as a wedding venue. Which was hysterical for Erika and her bridesmaids who grew up as swimmers… Of course she got married “in a pool.”

“It’s so hard to pinpoint exactly what I loved about the Zinnia Gown. I felt overwhelmingly beautiful, elegant, but also modern and a little sexy. The overlay beading was what caught my eye initially. I also loved the way the slip was sewn in and almost looked as if it was floating under the mesh and beading. I say all the time I wish I could wear it again and again. I knew I wanted something light since we had a summer wedding and something I could dance and this dress checked off all the boxes and more!”
