Kelsey & Tyler

Kelsey met Tyler, a fellow Boston attorney, during lunch at her first day at the office. The second the work day was over, she told her friends she met the man she was going to marry. Their relationship moved quickly - moving in together just a few months after dating, adopting a dog, and getting ready to spend the rest of their lives with each other. They did everything they could to intertwine their lives.

One thing that always kept them close was their deep love for travel. One Christmas they both got to pick a location for a weekend trip. Kelsey’s choice was Paris, a place Tyler had little to no interest in visiting. To make sure they had the best experience possible, she planned the entire trip to a T and constantly searched for cheap flights. Their first day there, she set out exploring while Tyler worked East Coast Hours. She told him all about the Jardin du Luxembourg and how beautiful it was. On the way to dinner, they stopped by to admire the gardens when Tyler perfectly proposed at sunset. Kelsey was in complete shock. It was the most magical weekend and a perfect representation of their lives together.

During the course of their relationship, both Kelsey and Tyler were very adamant about not wanting a traditional wedding. Their dream situation would be a courthouse wedding, followed by a small gathering somewhere in Europe with the people who mean the most to them.

Tyler had lived in Spain for a few years teaching English and it was the only location they considered for their wedding. They chose Finca Son Berga as their venue, a 16th-century finca with orange groves, an old stone house, and the dreamiest florals. The entire place is surrounded by cascading mountains in every direction. Kelsey let the venue speak for itself, focusing on a natural color scheme of greenery and whites. She wasn’t quite picky, after all, the The the important part of the day was just celebrating their love.

Following dinner, they had a typical European designated espresso time. While guests were enjoyed their espresso under the string lights, musicians began to played, followed by a surprise flamenco dancer. The group put on a magical traditional flamenco show to incorporate Spanish tradition. It was a must have on their wedding day list and it did not disappoint.

“The dress was, for lack of a better word, perfect. Alda completely changed my idea of what a wedding dress could be. After that, it was Alda or no wedding dress. I visited a friend in Philadelphia and decided to go to Lovely Bride to try it on. It was the first dress I tried on, and we knew immediately it was perfect. I went on to try more dresses to make sure that I wasn’t boxing myself in, but nothing ever compared. To this day, I still haven’t seen a dress that compares.
