Paula & Brian

Paula and Brian attended the same high school but were two years apart, and weren’t close. It wasn’t until 10 years later that they matched on a dating app and reconnected (while they both happened to be waiting in line at the Canadian border). They went on their first date the following week. Paula knew their connection was special when they were the only ones left at the bar, on the dance floor, getting down to 90’s music.

Brian popped the question at Jackson Hole on a 3-week long ski road trip. When Brian got word that the ring was ready, he had them overnight it from Seattle so that he could propose before their trip was over. On their last day, he proposed on a sleigh ride through Elk Refuge.

Paula and Brian got married in San Jose del Cabo at a private villa on the beach. The location was so stunning so they kept the decor simple - natural beauty and lots of candles. Their ceremony and cocktail hour were barefoot on the beach at sunset - a dream!

It was important to us to incorporate elements that felt very unique to who we are as a couple. For example, instead of doing a bouquet toss we decided to have a trophy made up and award it to the MVP of the wedding. Instead of a traditional after party we did a pool party, which kicked off with Brian and I sliding down the villa’s water slide.

Paula was head over heels for LILIUM as soon as she tried it on. She loved the beading, sparkle, and low-cut back with floral details.
